Defining Balance

For this portrait shoot with Basti, we selected a laundromat as the primary location, drawn to its distinctive visual character and bold color palette. The red washing machines and black-and-white tiled flooring became key design elements that shaped the overall aesthetic of the series.

To complement the environment, Basti chose an outfit he had previously worn during several TV appearances, creating a strong connection between his public persona and the visual narrative of the shoot. Through composition, color coordination, and carefully directed posing, we aimed to redefine balance within the frame while conveying a sense of lightness and effortless confidence.

The result is a portrait series that blends personality, fashion, and environment into a cohesive and visually engaging story.
